Hi everyone, Craig from Inquire Within Behavioral Health and Motivational Wear here. “You are the author of your story, not just a character in it.” An external locus of control says, “Life just happens to me—there’s nothing I can do,” but the philosophy behind Inquire Within flips that script. We believe you are an active author in your own story. You may not control every plot twist—illness happens, loss happens, injustice happens—but you do control how you respond, what meaning you make of it, and what you choose next. Our mission is to put that power back in your hands. When you see our designs in the mirror, we want you to remember: you are not just along for the ride—you have a pen in your hand, and your next chapter is still being written.
We’ll be doing a live raffle two to three weeks later on Facebook, where you’ll hear from me and our Social Media and Marketing Director, Lindsay. We’ll be discussing mental health, the importance of improving our internal locus of control, and sharing some exciting future plans—including the possibility of starting our own podcast. Remember, you must be present for the live broadcast to claim your prize, so don’t miss out on that chance.

Hi its Craig with inquire within behavioral health. As you know I encourage healing from within. Remember an
“Internal locus of control builds resilience; and an external locus of control feeds resentment.”
When we believe everything is controlled by others—by fate, by
systems, by people—we can easily slip into resentment:
“They did this. They owe me. I can’t do anything.”
That mindset may feel protective in the short term, but it drains our hope.
The Internal locus of control, by contrast, builds resilience.
It says, “Even if I’ve been hurt, even if things are unfair, I still have choices about how I heal, how I respond, and what I build next.”
That’s the energy behind Inquire Within.
We’re not ignoring injustice or struggle—we’re refusing to let them have the final say over who we become.
